Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege of serving under the Captain on the USS Davis. He was a model Naval officer, and a credit to the last NG tradition of Greyhound skippers.

Captain Dunne was very professional and very fair - and that, in my opinion, is the highest praise any naval officer can aspire to.

Sue & Family: Joyce and I send our sincere condolences to you, your daughters, their spouses and families. It's hard to believe that our fond memories of Jerry extend beyond a half century. Key among the memories are his devotion to his family, love of the Navy, an ever present, dry sense of humor, an extensive list of close friends and associates and a wonderful, loyal classmate. Rest your oars, sailor, rest in peace.

He was my first sea going CO. Rest in peace captain.

as many of us sailors who had the honor to call him Captain... we are better men to have known him... fair wi ds and followi t seas..... GQ
