So sorry to hear about Coach Eaton's passing. He certainly had a profound impact on my life. And, that story about building a fire in the dugout. All true. I was there. We seniors had fun explaining the burn marks on the bats the next year. So long coach.

So sorry for your loss Nancy. Jerry and I had a lot of fun talking about our high school sports and the rivalry between our two high schools , may Jerry now rest in peace.

Coach Eaton is a legend...My sophomore year 1st day of baseball practice...Coach told us he would coach us thru our senior year and then retire. Turns out he coaches my nephew who is 20 years younger than I. I talked to Coach a couple summers ago and planned on telling him that he was one of my heros. I never told him that day but he still is and always will be my Hero!!! RIP Coach Eaton
