Not sure what to say?

I have wonderful memories I have cherised through the years. I served in the Connecticut Hartford Mission, Pres. Erickson was inspiring and we knew we were loved and challenged to teach the people of New England. He celebrated with us when we had success and felt our disappiontment when we were challenged. A life well lived, thank you.

I am so sad to hear of President Ericksen's passing. Had I known, I would have gone to the funeral this past weekend. He was a delightful and cheerful mission president, and I will always be grateful for his firm guidance during such an important part of my life.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of President Ericksen and his son Robert and wanted you to know that your family and the extended Ericksen families are being remembered in our family prayers.

When I heard about President Ericksen's passing I felt like I had lost my second father. He was so good to me. Next to my father and mother I consider him to be my best mentor. It was because of him that I sought employment in the insurance industry upon my return from the mission field....

To the Ericksen Family,
As a former member of the Federal Hts Ward,I just wanted to express my sympathy in the passing of Pres.Ericksen and your brother Robert. Your parents and your family were a good example to us all. It's hard to see that friends have passed but my heart rejoices in knowing that your parents are together again and that they will be with Mimi and Robert. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Aloha, A hui hou, malama pono. President Ericksen and family. Please accept my deepest condolences and sympathy as you mourn the loss of both Robert and Jerry. I have been on Kauai for the past ten years, but tried to see my mission President when I would get back to Utah. I will always be grateful for your friendship and guidence over the years, A Great Friend and Mentor will be missed.

I remember President Gerald Ericksen as Stake President of Emigration Stake as well as a neighbor at 1002 ist Avenue as well as Missionary leader of the Stake Mission later in the 1980's. He was a great leader. My best wishes and condolences go to his family. Kathryn MacKay Jones

Thank you President Ericksen for being such a great, understanding leader and influence on my life. Til we meet again..

Jerry was a man I admired greatly and have kept his character in my heart for years. His example has helped and will continue to help me in innumerable ways.

Jerry, who was in Stake Pres called me to serve in H Council in Orange Cty 1958. He was an excellent role model to follow and I enjoyed many years of serving under him. Erna was a year ahead of me at old Davis High...small world!! My sympathies are with the family.....know that they are in a wonderful place....hope I can rejoin them someday,
