I have known your father and husband since we played in the sandbox together when we were young. Sorry to hear about his passing, he was a great guy and will be missed.

Jerry was one of my closest friends at the Plain Dealer. I will never forget the year we went to the worlds softball tournament in Providence Rhode Island. He was one hell of a shortstop. I really feel bad that its been years since we talked. I didnt know he was Ill. He will always be on my mind and thoughts. God bless you pal. Your friend, All Worlds.

Jerry was one of the nicest person you would want to know. In all the years I knew him, he never had a bad thing to say about anyone! Sincere condolences to Carol and all the family

He played slow pitch for my dad's team in the old St. Clair League. I was the batboy and I remember Jerry as a real nice guy. A real gentlemen.

Jerry was one of the nicest guys I ever worked with at the Plain Dealer when I was at Brooklyn-Parma Depot for several years. His obit is absolute fact-a wonderful guy to all who had the pleasure to know him. He was always a good listener and had some wildly entertaining stories he would tell as well. I'm grateful I had the pleasure to work with him.
