Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. Gordie spoke highly of him. Now the two of them can write sports together in Heaven.

Robin & Cinny,

Very sorry for your loss. Hold his memory dear in your hearts. He will be there with you always.

Gerry was a true sportsman, on multiple levels, and was also a true gentleman who was lucky to find Janet later in life. God bless. The Peterson Family

Cynni and robin so sorry to hear about your dad, I often remember the Fourth of July parties in your back yard, your parents made it fun for all the kids

We were at AIC together, and I worked with Gerry for 40-plus years. I always admired the insight he brought to his writing, especially his columns. RIP, Gerry...

I'm sorry for your loss. Gerry's passion for golf & writing skills made him a big part of the local golf scene

JUST ALL CLASS. SAT NEXT TO HIM FOR FORTY YEARS IN THE PRESS BOX. NEVER HAD A BAD WORD ABOUT ANYBODY.

Gerry was so very nice to me as a returning soldier from Vietnam. I played in a golf tournament at Wilbraham Country Club soon after I returned home with my brother Jon. We were fortunate to win the tourament and Gerry wrote such nice articles about our winning and about my returning from Vietnam. God bless you Gerry and may you rest in peace. Such a fine gentleman.
