TEWKSBURY - The Rev. Gerald J. Forkin, OMI, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, Jan. 3, at the Oblate residence in Tewksbury. He was 78 and had suffered from Parkinson's disease for several years.

During and after graduating from Bishop Fallon in 1966 Father Forkin had a great influence on the lives of my family. We remained friends and stayed in contact all through these years. I am certain many others will miss him as much as we will.
