Gerald Formsma

I am saddened to learn of Jerry's passing. I knew Jerry from my work experience at North American Aluminum in Parchment where my boss was Lou Gaspar, Jerry's colleague. Jerry was a likeable, stand-up guy whose friendship I valued. I moved from Parchment post-college and have often wondered how the lives of Jerry and Lou continued to unfold. I worked for AACOA as my first "real" job. I remember when layoffs came, he laid off those who could get unemployment and work to keep on the young upstarts like me working so we could pay our bills. Kind and thoughtful.

We fondly remember Jerry and send prayers to all the family during this difficult time.

Prayers for the family. Gerald and Connie were such wonderful neighbors when they lived in Bristol and were such lovely people. So so sorry for your loss.

So many wonderful memories of good times together at Venture Out and at their home in Elkhart. Singing bass with you in the church choir and at Barbershop practice was a highlight for me. We will miss you Jerry!

It was an honor to have worked for a very giving and loving man. I had only one regret, that I had still not been working for him to this day. You will be forever missed.
