Played football with Jerry at EMU' 84. In reflection, it was a real honor--he was and will always be a class act. Mark Peterson (Defensive Tackle)

My heartfelt condolences to all of you. I will always remember Jerry as just the kindest person. He was always so sincere. He always had time to ask how you were doing in the hallways at STVM. Just a kind hearted person!
Peaceful healing to all of you,

My family and I are truly sorry for your loss.
I met Jerry for a short period of time but I only have good memories of him as a great son, brother, husband and loving father.
Quiet and funny at the same time is how I will always remember him.
One of the strongest people I have ever met in and out.
The most sincere condolences from Costa Rica.
