This WWll generation was some of the greatest that have ever lived. They saw and lived through many hard things in their lives. My dad (George) and Gerry were related by marriage. Both had stories to tell that went undocumented. But those that knew them were enriched by their telling of them. Both were good men. Unfortunately George died at a young age after the war. Gerry was my last connection to the past. There's a part of you that disappears when that connection is gone. I will miss...
