Gerry was such a dear, and kind man. Our time together as board members of Stowe Land Trust is something I will always remember because he was an inspiration to all of us. Oh, how I'll miss him! Chance visits at the post office, many Music Festival of the Americas board meetings--he, ever the arts advocate. We were trying to connect with a visit in the last few months and couldn't quite make it work. He was my advocate and friend, always encouraging, always sunny...always wise.
