He did so much for this town-- got the Main Street Program started, help with the End of the Oregon Trail Plan and as president of the McLoughlin Memorial Association. Jerry and I grew-up together from the first grade on up. We had not seen each other since we were 18. But I never forgot him. We were 9th grade shop students from hell. We did'nt like the shop teacher. So needless to say we flunked.

Jerry was not only my cousin, but a good friend. My heart aches at the thought of him no longer being in my life, but I will smile as I remember Jerry and how much he loved his family and America!
