Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to Gerry's family, he spoke a lot about his grand daughter, Rose. I was diagnosed with MH at Mayo in 1981 by Gerry and always stayed in touch with him, he was warm, caring and loved his family. When I didn't hear back from my email on his Birthday, I was afraid something happened. He will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Gerrys passing. Gerry and Pat will be sorely missed. They welcomed my wife to stay with them while she looked for our first house in Sacramento. He was a mentor to me at UCDavis. We visited them a number of times in Albuquerque and always tried to spend an evening together during ASA meetings. Both of them had a down to earth approach to life and were always generous and caring. May their memories be a blessing.

Gerry contributed a great deal to our understanding of Malignant Hyperthermia and to the Malignant Hyperthermia Association of the US, where he served on the Board for several years. He taught us all a lot.
