I send my deepest condolences to you, the family of Gerry Grover. I was hired by "Mr. Grover" to teach on his staff at Butternut Creek Elementary School in 1978 and taught for him until he retired. Gerry and Sonia were wonderful friends and always looking to help out! I loved listening to her talk! I loved the way she said Diane´s name but I couldn´t duplicate it! Years later, I had the privilege of being on the staff that opened Butternut Creek! All of Gerry´s Air Force encounters enhanced his ability to bring people together! Dear David, Peter, and Diana, I was hired by your Dad at Butternut Creek Elementary and enjoyed the best years of my teaching career there. Your Dad helped me to be a confident teacher and encouraged me to speak up and share my ideas with others. I´ll always be grateful to him for that.
