Not sure what to say?

Our hearts are rejoicing for Rev. Harris and can't imagine to joy he is experiencing now - BUT - our hearts are breaking with sadness that he is now gone. So many memories - lots of laughs & love from the man I will always consider my special 'Dad'.
Our love to Mrs. H., Debbie & Lori, and their families.

Dear Joan, Deb, Lori and families,
I have such sweet memories of all of you in your house in Peoria and Uncle Jerry becoming ordained, although I'm not sure if I new what ordained meant at the time! I vividly remember your pulling out of the driveway of the little gray house toward your new destiny in the far away state of New York. I treasurer the wonderful visit we had together in Quincy many years ago and your warm acceptance of me and my famly. Finally, I'm so glad I got to see Jerry...

Gerry has been a part of our family since his fellowship in Fairville. We attended school with Deb and Lori. He married us in 1967, as well as both my sisters. He baptized our children, and in 1997 married our daughter at Bristol Mountain. Our deepest sympathy and prayers to the Harris family. God bless.

You will always live in our hearts and prayers.

Joan and Gerry Harris

Rev. Harris has been there for our family repeatedly over the years, through both the good times and the bad. He was a wonderful man, with a generous loving heart, who will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Gerry was a special friend of ours the last 20years. His positive attitude in serving the Lord is unsurpassed and know that God & Jesus is there to greet him in Heaven. Their visit to our home and Church in Florida was a special time and we treasure He & Joans visit. Jerry was our guest speaker at Memorial Sunday for the Elks in 1988 and spoke on the Book of Timothy.
Yours in Christ

Aunt Joan, Deb, Lori & Families: I'm so sad to hear that Uncle Jerry has passed but have to believe he's smiling down on all of you from heaven. We so enjoyed our occasional visits when you came back to Illinois. I remember most recently looking through your family & vacation scrapbooks, seeing how happy you guys looked in the pictures and then Aunt Joan's pride when she talked about her children & grandchildren. May you all find the comfort in your families that I know you will need...
