I met Gerry in 1970 when I went to work part time in the Cit Pat mailroom. Sometimes I got to be his "jumper", He drove his red truck and I would jump out the passenger door and run papers into stores. We would talk between stops and became friends at and outside of work. Years latter when I would run into him delivering bundles of newspapers around town we would stop and chat. Gerry was a great guy. RIP old friend.
