A drawing I made of a feather.
Jerry, I meet you and another wonderful person who worked here, back around the time of August 2008. Ya'll meet me and my family and thought well of me, and I believe ya'll are a major reason I became a student worker in the library instead of some other location on campus. I won't forget talking with you, and temporarily working with you as a freshmen. You were funny, serious, skilled and wise. You remind me of a noble Eagle. During the next two years, we acknowledged each other other daily....

I was shocked to hear of your passing. I guess the good Lord needed another special person in heaven. You and your family were and are very special people.

My dear friend, Jerry. It's hard to imagine that I'll no longer hear your voice or see you walk into my work area--you left us all, too soon. Thank you for your kindness and generosity and especially for befriending me and taking me under your "wing" when I started working at Trinity. Jerry, you will live in my heart forever. Rest in peace, my friend, until we meet again. Love You!!! BTW, I got your call.
