Dearest Aunt Helen, I just got word and my heart is heavy. I wish I could have been there to give you a big hug and share so many wonderful memories. Uncle Gerry was a wonderful man, kind and gentle and always there with a helping hand. I would never have passed my university physics class without him. I can still remember the day you got married and how happy you looked. Time walks...runs...flies by so fast that in a blink years pass before we know it. Please know my heart is there with you....

So sorry to hear about Gerald. Played basketball against him...Gerald for Sanford...me for La Jara...he was a great player, and Sanford always cleaned our clock. He was always a good sport. Got to play with him in intramurals at Colorado State University. Condolences to his family. I will always remember him as a great guy, and a soft spoken good friend. May you all find peace and understanding at this time
