We just heard from friends in the Music Company Orchestra of Jerry's death. Both of us had the pleasure and privilege of working with Jerry and Edith in the MCO for many years, and to receive the news at a distance like this was a terrible shock. Gerry and Edith, and for many earlier years Dan and Jonathan, have been our across-the-street neighbors, and very good neighbors indeed. I worked with him now & then at GE.
