So sorry to hear about Jerry´s demise. He was a fraternity brother at Brooklyn Polytechnic and a fellow student in earning our PhDs at Stanford University. I want to share condolences to Lorraine and the rest of his family. May he RIP.

I worked with Gerry at NL Industries back in the 70s. Gerry Kotler was forward-thinking developer of die-casting technology. He also taught me history of Israel, lent me a splendid on Masada (by Yigael Yadin). He also left a very possitive mark on my career. Very sorry to hear of his passing.
