Read MoreJerry and I met in 1970 at HR Block and have been close friends ever since. I visited with him about three weeks ago at his residence. We often talked about our families, trips , investments, and of course current news. I will deeply miss one of my favorite friends after all these years.

I met Jerry just once but heard his name hundreds of times by my wife and his former student and friend, Elizabeth O´Brien. The only thing that usurped her respect for this brilliant, kind and wonderful man was her love for him. My condolences to Jerry´s family. What an incredible life.
