I truly loved this man. He was so good to me. He was the best boss I've ever had. I was saddened when he retired. My thoughts, prayers, and love are with you, Lorig family. I will cherish my memories of him forever.

I met Judge Lorig in 1994 when I became an assistant prosecutor. I tried several cases in his courtroom and always enjoyed him as a Judge and a person. I admired him for the physical endeavors he pursued including, but not necessarily limited to, cycling and wind-surfing. I was elected to his position after he retired, and he told me he was proud of me. It has been an honor being his successor. I remember seeing him on his bike. Long ago memories from the 70's. He was an inspiration to me as well as many others I'm sure. God's peace and strength be with you all.
