Gerald "Jerry" Lovelace

On this Anniversary, I can truly say Butch Memories still resonate w us and the children of him. A great man, worker and most of all, Friend! xo

May God comfort each of you, my cousins in the passing of your dad. I have many fond memories of your dad from visits to your house in our youth. I have kept a t-shirt from "3 Rivers Canoe" as a memento of a visit and a raft trip down the river, with my children and brother, back in the 80's. Wonderful memories.

To my cousins, My best memory of your father was when I about 4 years old. We lived upstate and he was (in my eyes, such a hero) as he flew a plane and buzzed our house frequently. When we heard that loud noise we knew YEAH!!! Uncle Gerald is here. He and my Dad cut the grass in the field next to our house, I remember sweat rolling off their faces and built an air strip for him to take off . It was exciting for us.He was always nice to me and Iam so sorry about his passing. Iam sincerely sad...

Sorry to hear about uncle jerry's passing. may storys can be told of the great time we had floatting down the river and looking for the watermelon that tooks its own trip with out us, and all the money we could get by collecting all the bottles and cans.

He will be in our hearts always. As his sister, I could not have had a better big brother.

Jerry touched our lives in the most kindest and generous ways. He was a man of honor and a true American patriot.

God bless you for giving him the care and devotion he deserved and needed in his last days.
