Not sure what to say?

Sending my condolences to the family of my cousin Jerry. He was truly a man of outstanding character and I so enjoyed our visits with him when we could find him home when we made our trips to the U.P. I always felt a special kinship with him...he reminded me so much of my dad, Axel Peterson....in fact, I think they looked similar in facial features....I guess it was the smile. My parents, Axel and Mae, named me after his mom Adele, who I never met (born too late). So, to the family, just...

So sorry to hear of cousin Jerrys passing.

Dear Mantta Family,

We were so saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. We were privledged to know a man of his stature. He was always, cheerful, humble and kind. He was an outstanding friend. We always enjoyed his visits down to the lake. He will be missed.

Sincerely,
Paul and Chris Hyypio

Thinking of you and your family with love and sympathy ❤

My Dear Uncle Jerry,
I miss you so much. I always said that when you look up the words "unconditional love" in the dictionary, your picture should be there. You loved my father thru his many ups and downs. You were always there for me when I needed you. I have such wonderful memories of all of us at the farm when I was just a little girl-with Grandpa Mantta there as well. My mom always says you are just like Grandpa Mantta-very loving and gentle, and always looking out for your family. I...

We are so sad to hear of Jerry's passing. What a Wonderful Cousin he was!! We so enjoyed visiting with him last August before we left the CC for Florida! Each time I saw Jerry, his smile, his looks, his unconditional positive regard, his patience, his mannerisms, always replicated my Dad Axel, Jerry's uncle. Rest In Peace, Jerry. We will miss you.

It is with tremendous respect and pride in my dear brother-in-law that I send sympathy to his family. Everyone who met Jerry knew of his unassuming inquisitive nature, kind spirit, enthusiasm, love of the land and devotion to family. We were truly Blessed. GODSPEED
