Not sure what to say?

Dearest Uncle Bud,
You were the lord’s most gracious gift to our family and to all those whom had the pleasure of making your acquaintance.
Always compassionate. Always willing to reach out to anyone seeking advice or direction in pursuance of the lord’s passage.
The generosity, guidance and advice you shared with helping the family through times of despair and hardship were acts of a Saint.
Sharing your shore house so the family could enjoy weeks of vacationing...

May Perpetual Light shine on Rev. Gerald A. Marchand for his faithful service to God and the people of God, through administering the sacraments of Christ's Church. Baptism, Holy Eucharist, and Holy
Matrimony of man and woman, hearing of confessions in the Sacrament of Reconciliation and absolving penitent 'in the name of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,' and Anointing of the Sick. Well done, good and faithful servant of our Lord. You are seeing some AMAZING THINGS now, I'm sure.

We have known Fr. Marchand since he first came to St, Paul’s. I was 12 and my now husband was 16.He had a great influence on both of us from then on. Bill even learned to drive in his car. He married us, buried our parents, baptized our daughters and our grandchildren and was an integral and beloved member of our family.
One of our great memories will be when he was visiting us at the shore a few years ago and he spontaneously stood up and sang “Danny Boy” to everyone’s delight. We...

Father Marshand was well loved by the parishioners of St. Martha's Church in Point Pleasant, NJ. For seventeen years (1998-2015), he served the parish as a faithful servant of God.
Father Marshand had an excellent sense of humor which served him very well during his thoughtful and caring homilies.
Father Marshand's beautiful singing voice will be much loved and appreciated in the heavenly choir in Heaven. Father Marshand always thanked the St. Martha's Choir and or Folk Group at...

Father Marchand was loved by my mother Mary Brady in Our Lady of Lourdes in West Orange. May he rest in peace. He was a great priest.

Fr Bud
A good friend to my mother and uncle over the years
Always a spiritual supporter as well

A truly exceptional man, priest and friend. We’ll miss you Father Bud - rest in eternal peace, until we meet again.

What a great guy and wonderful priest. I had the honor of serving some of his Masses as a kid. To this day everytime I hear "Dann Boy", I think of him and his Bayonne roots. Rest in Peace, Fr Marchand. Joe Wallroth SPS 1958

Knew him pretty well at Lourdes in WO. Helped my family though some tough times. A true Pastor who always put the people of his parish 1st.
