To the Martin Family, My condolences for the loss of Gerry. Playing softball with him back in the 1980s for JILLY´S, so many laughs and good times. Just a down to earth kinda guy. He will be sorely missed, and remembered. Till we meet again my friend...RIP!

Dear Mike, Paul, Buddy and Bobby, Please accept my heartfelt condolences on Jerry´s passing. I had the pleasure of sharing an office with Jerry at the WNEU athletic department for a few years. He was funny, self-effacing , and a caring coach. I always left our office with a smile on my face . Hoping the good memories of your brother will see you through this difficult time. Sincerely, Mike Thompson

Can't add very much to what is already been said in Gerry's "write-up" other than to say I liked him very, very much! 6 of the most fun years I've ever coached (@ WNEC). My favorite 1 liner from recruiting. When recruiting a really good player he'd instruct me to "Give him the ole Big Fish in a little pond scenario". He's now a big fish in a big pond. God bless you Gerry
