Jerry was one of my mentors when I hired in at Shell and went on to become a good friend as well as a co-worker. Our 3:00AM discussions and debates on the meaning of life and other deep subjects were always enlightening and entertaining, and in the sometimes wild and woolly days of the 80s and 90s it was reassuring to know that Jerry was there to help us.
Please accept my condolences, and know that you and Jerry will be in my thoughts and prayers.
