Not sure what to say?

My dad, Carl Harris, would like to share some childhood memories: They trapped and skinned muskrats, were always down at the river-not being very nice to the frogs and turtle hunting. One time one of them slung mud at the other and pretty soon they both had slimy mud everywhere-top to bottom! They laughed and laughed at each other! Jerry's poor mom! One time their school had a Catch the Greased Pig contest. Jerry caught it and got to take the pig home. That was fun! Quote from dad "He was my...

Shirley, Sharon, Rhonda and family, We were so saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. He was such a kind and honorable man who meant so much to the Russell family over the years. He and Shirley were so wonderful to us when we lost Dad in March of this year. He shared with us stories of wonderful times he spent with Dad hunting. I shared a picture earlier of him that Dad took on one of their trips as well as a picture of him goofing around with Shirley on a family camping trip we all...

Jerry always had a smile. A super nice and caring guy.

Carl Harris and family send our deepest sympathies to Shirley, Sharon, Rhonda and family. Jerry's friendship with my dad was extraordinary! They were best friends for close to 80 years. Jerry will be greatly missed! Thoughts and prayers to you all.

Shirley, Sharon, Rhonda and family, We are so sorry to here about Jerry. We know how very difficult it is to lose such an inspirational man like Jerry. He was such a warm and dear person who was always there when you needed him. Over the years he was such a dear friend to our family and especially to my Mom and Dad. Most recently he shared in our grief when Dad passed this past March. We pray that God will comfort you all with his loving grace at this time. I wanted to share two pictures...

I worked with Jerry, at C &P Telephone Company. The times we had, he had a boyish smile and I knew he was up to no good. When he retired, he picked me up and walked around with us both laughing. Jerry was one of the very best telephone men I have ever known, but most of all one of the nicest gentleman I have ever worked with. Rest In Peace my old friend until we meet again. Sending heartfelt prayers to all the knew and loved Jerry.

To the family of Mr. Gerald Mead, I am sending you condolences on the loss of your loved one. I am a friend of his daughter Sharon, who I cheered with at Norview HS (class of 1982). The Heavenly Choir is patiently waiting for their newest angel to join their ranks to sing praises into our Heavenly Father. May God comfort you during this time of your loss, and may you find comfort in your loved one´s life as a Christian who was one of God´s servants (foot soldiers) here on earth. Pamela...
