Not sure what to say?

Gerald was a friend of mine in the North Texas-Six Flags days (1968-1970). He and Linda were managers of the Palm Garden Apartments in Denton. He voted for Nixon. I didn't. Shoo-fly pie.

Dear Linda,
Deepest condolences on your husband's passing. So many children were guided musically by him. I know your family will support and comfort you.

Fondly,
Barbara Yorlets

I enjoyed Jerry's friendship while I worked at Bermudian Middle School. He taught my son, Mike & daughter, Tina to play their musical instruments. Sorry I was not able to attend his memorial service. Linda, I enjoyed our times together, as well. My sympathy to you & your family. Chloe Duncan

Dear Renee and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your father and grandfather. Gerald was a wonderful man and had an amazing life. One thing very evident was his love for his family.
I know you have so many wonderful memories, and I hope they comfort you for the time ahead.
I love you very much and will always be here for you.

I teach 4th grade now, and always tell my students that joining the band changed my life's course. Had Mr. Mickey not convinced me to play the tuba, offered lessons as I went through high school and motivated me to get better, I wouldn't be where I am today. I wouldn't have made the blue band at PSU, not met my wife who was a majorette there, or had the wonderful daughter we have now.

Mr. Mickey was a major influence in my life and I can't thank him enough. From all of the great...

Linda, Renee and family; Barbara and I send our deepest sympathy. We were so sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this sad time. Bob

Linda and family. I was so sorry to hear of Gerald's
passing. I will always remember our breakfasts and
conversations about everything.
Gerald was a unique individual whom i was proud
to call my friend.
My condolences to you and your family.

I was looking through and saw this face, I thought this looks so familiar to me. The magician who shared the space with us at Johnny Appleseed! Always so happy to see him year after year. When my mother passed he was genuinely sorry, he made that first year without her more bearable. Be at peace and prayers to your family.

Apple Harvest Festival October 13, 2007

I saw this familiar face when reading the obituaries. So sorry that we won't be seeing him at the Apple Harvest Festival performing his magic act. He was enjoyed by our children and grandchildren - and us. Our thoughts and prayers to the family.
