Not sure what to say?

Jim and I send our belated condolences to Dawn and family. Jerry was a very special friend of ours, and we will always carry him in our hearts. Our feelings of loss are tempered by the knowledge that his "big brother" Van was waiting to welcome him on the other side...

I came to know Jerry at Kiwanis 25 years ago. We worked together at the fish derby and Meals on Wheels and St. Vinnies. But I really got to know him ice fishing. You can cover a lot of topics when fish aren't biting.
Jerry was very proud of Susan, Jay and his grandchildren, keeping me updated on life events.
Besides his years of serving, I found him to be a very grateful man. He could have worked for the Chamber of Commerce as he was so grateful to live in Manitowoc Cty with it's...

Our condolences to all of you. We enjoyed visiting with Jerry when we recorded our "Hometown Hero" segment back in 2014. In his honor, that segment will re-air this Friday December 30th at 6:30 AM, 6:30 PM and 10:00 PM.

Thoughts and prayers with all the family.

Terry & Dellrose Kovarik

So sorry for your loss, our prayers go out to you.

Sorry to here about your lost. My thoughts and prays go out to you and your family.

Jerry and I were in the first Two Rivers Citizens Academy several years ago. He was such a kind and thoughtful man, always thinking of others. He was every bit a gentleman and certainly made this world a better place. He lived a good full life and now is at peace with our Lord. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Hang on to the good memories . I'm sure there are many. If there's fishing in heaven, we know what he's doing.

With Sympathy and Love,
Larry and Kathy...

Jerry was one of the most funny, caring and gentle men I have ever known. He always had a smile and kind word to say to you whenever you'd see him. I am so happy to have known him and be able to call him my friend. You are with the Lord, save me a seat.

Sorry for your loss. He was a great guy.

Initially met Jerry during the short run of the MILITARY Society group out of the Washington House.

His recall of events experience in WW II gave us all a sense of awe in what solders of his era encountered. Later during his talks at the Community center left us all in amazement as he spoke of events very few veterans of that time were willing to share.

Jerry - Thank You - We will miss you, but always remember you!!
