Gerald O'Dwyer

Condolences to the Dwyer family with the loss of such an amazing man.

My memories of Red Dwyer go back nearly 80 years to Adams and Crawford when he would push me in my buggy with my brother Tom Sloan. He was like one of the Dead End kids. Always the heart of the gang but good kids playing every sport and holding their own on the street corners too. I recall the Dwyers had an Irish jaunting cart and pony they rode around the neighborhood.

I have many fun and fond memories of Gerald from our early days with the O'Dwyer family. He so admired our mother and was a fine friend to Vincent. He was a joy to know.
