Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Gerald Paul. We worked together in the 1940's at Trojan Hosiery Mills, a subsidiary of Real Silk. His kindness, humility, and generosity of spirit made a lasting impression on me. It was an honor to have known him. May he rest in peace. His memory will live on in all those whose lives he touched.

Remembering your great love story today and always.

I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Gerald Paul of Indianapolis, IN. His obituary Is a testament to a life well-lived. He and his extraordinary wife Dorit were two of the liveliest and most wonderful people, philanthropists, and art lovers I have ever known. Gerald -- with a dry wit, warmth, and modesty-- was beyond special. May he rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing. My heart goes out to Dorit and their entire family.

Mr. Paul inspired everyone he met to contribute meaningfully to their community, to bring dignity and a smile to interactions with others, and to appreciate the beauty of the arts. I am grateful to have known him.
