Not sure what to say?

I unfortunately never got to truly meet and speak with you but I know you were Lindsay's rock. As time grows closer to your celebration. I truly hope that your family will celebrate the life you lived as well as how well you lived it. Keep your good memories and let certain tragedies be soon in the past. Grief is so difficult but tragedy makes it a bit more difficult. I'm sure they were not ready to lose you but I know you are looking down upon them saying carry on my legacy and be happy!...

Jerry and I served together on our first assignment in the Air Force. We shared our experiences in southeast Asia during the Vietnam war. Jerry helped me out with a legal dispute in Riverside many years later. He was a great patriot and a tremendous lawyer. Thomas L. Hemingway, Brig Gen, USAF (Ret)

I am so sad to learn of Jerry´s passing so tragically. My condolences to his family. I am a childhood friend and remember him fondly. Gussie and my mother were friends. He left a shining legacy. Fondly, Toby Spar Holzer

I have unbelieveably fond memories of Jerry during my freshman year at the College of Charleston. So sad to hear of his passing. His good works will transcend his life.

So sad to hear of Jerry´s passing. Fond memories of teen years. May his name be for a blessing.

My prayers & thoughts are lovingly sent to the Polis family. He was wonderful to me as a friend during a stressful court case in Riverside. I will always be grateful for his time.

A fine man, friend and basketball player. Billy Burns
