Not sure what to say?

Jerry you may be gone, but you will never ever be forgotten. I have many, many great memories that I will cherish forever.

I also worked for Pickle Bills in the flats one summer and first met Jerry. I have seen him many times over the years. Pickle Bills is 2 miles from home and he lived nearby. He helped me out a few times and I helped him back. A fine happy respectable man he was. I remember walking into Pickle Bills wearing my "Jerry" t-shirt and he laughed out loud. He'll be missed by many.

I worked for you 49 years ago . Thank you for the opportunity to work with so many good people. You are an example if you don't quit you will succeed. Thank you again for the good memories.

The best friend I ever had

I had the opportunity to work for Jerry at the old and the new Pickle Bill’s in the 90s and early 2000s. He was an absolute genius when it came to marketing and I really learned a lot about people, life and music while I was there. Getting to meet Liam Clancy and giving my dad the opportunity to “dine with Liam” was an absolute highlight, that only happened because of Jerry and his love for folk and Irish music. Pickle Bills and everyone there will always be near and dear to my heart. Thank...

With gratitude and respect for Jerry from the Common Sense Novelty Company

I worked for Jerry for many years and learned valuable lessons from him. Jerry and Pickle Bills will always be special to me.

We all wonder if our life has touched anyone and pray we made a difference. Jerry is the main person in my life who gave my life direction, support and encouragement. I would not be where I am today without him. Through Jerry’s generosity I have the good fortune to claim many more friends in life than I ever could have met on my own. Thank you Jerry for a lite well lived.

Jerry Powell was an entrepreneur of life!!! ( Not to mention his knowledge of marketing, designing and executing a menu that would serve the public from a 100 mile radius specifically at Pickle Bills. Jerry was a respected friend in business, I will miss Jerry very much. He was always there, always a phone call away. Mary Anne, please keep alive the tradition of Pickle Bills , its truly a great one. Douglas Ciancibello.
