He was the best man I ever met. He will always be in my heart. I think of him often and admire his effortless kindness, generosity, and heart felt words. I'll always remember what he told me during a hard time in my life; his love and compassion were unmatched.

Jerry was a great man I wish I knew better , a very generous man and what people should strive to be like. To the entire family my deepest condolences

Jerry Powers was very special person I met 22 years back I never met anybody else who is so kind so generous so loyal to lotta people we met for breakfast several times I was able to help him as a medical primary care physician he was so you're so kind person to give any amount to any charities especially in Pontiac to Civitan Club to creative arts Center of Pontiac which was Library when he was growing up you always talk about his heritage what his parents grandparents his kids grandkids...

My deepest sympathy to the Powers family. Jerry was and outstanding man. From one who worked for a miller distributor and talked to Jerry many many times. Great man. He will be missed.
