Not sure what to say?

So crushed to learn that Dr Reaven (I could never manage to call him Gerry) has left us. I was thinking of Dr Reaven today, so many of my patients suddenly popping up with previously undiagnosed PreDM. Because I was lucky enough to have Dr Reaven wander into my Diabetes Center one day-and change my life as we endeavored to launch research into the indigenous Mexican workers of Monterey County-I will always carry a torch for undiagnosed Insulin Resistance. I had the privilege of being Gerry,s post graduated student, a very generous person, great professor and very brilliant mind. My sincerely condolences to Eve and all his family. We lost a giant

Dear Eve and family
I had recently been thinking about Gerry and the workplace and decided to check on the computer. I was sorry to see that he had passed early this year. I remember working with all of you for many years.
I am still volunteering at Kaiser in the hospital side twice a week at the age of 86! Still living alone in my home. My condolences to all of you.

Jerry was consistently thoughtful of others and kind to befriend younger scientists. I'll always remember and appreciate his openness and generosity.
My condolences to Eve and Peter and the rest of the family.

My condolences to the Reaven Family for the loss of Gerald Reaven. He was a long time mentor and friend. He will be missed.

My condolences to the family. Jerry was my mentor during my Fellowship and I am glad we stayed in touch since then. A dedicated scientist and teacher who could explain the most complicated physiology in elegant, almost-poetic language. We will miss him. Rest in peace.

My condolences to the family of Gerald Reaven. I'm very sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort be with you at this difficult time and be comfort by God'sWord in JER.29:11

Our sincere sympathy for your loss. May God's comfort be with you all. John 3:16.
