Not sure what to say?

I was very sorry to read of Gerry's passing. We both attended Holy Cross School in Euclid. He lived on Locherie Ave. and I lived on the next street over. He and my friend and I often walked home from grade school together. I saw him many years ago when he came up for an event at Holy Cross. May you rest in peace, Gerry.

Fr. Jerry was instrumental in my family coming into the Church. I met Fr. Jerry through my time as a student at UD. He had a genuine love for the Lord and expressed it best through liturgical music. He sang his heart out to the Lord and we couldn´t help but to join in. We benefitted from his leadership and guidance through the UD RCIA process and our daughter was baptized at Immaculate Conception chapel by Fr. Jerry. Over the years he was at UD and Mt. We were very saddened to hear of Fr. Jerry's passing. He was a treasured friend to us for over 45 years. Over the last few years we were very happy to enjoy our frequent phone conversations, which were always both fun and spiritual. Jerry's devoted love for God and Our Lady was always evident in his daily life. We hope and pray that we can continue his example on our faith journey. We love you Jerry. Thank you for your friendship. We were blessed to have you in our lives. To the family...

Father Jerry's legacy springs from his willingness to serve others selflessly and without hesitation. He was always there for you as a priest, as a Campus Minister, as a teacher, and as a friend. He was the embodiment of the Marianist spirit, and I will never forget that he helped me through the grief I wrestled with after losing...
