Not sure what to say?

A very dear man who was passionate about this community and saving our aviation image. Being a class mate with Jerry, he saved my first love the Wright Brothers history and their family Dayton Ohio. Thank you Jerry for your efforts to bring aviation history to were it belongs and my love as a pilot to continue to share our dream. Thank you my friend.

Claire, sorry for your loss. We will keep you and your family in prayer.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Claire, May your heart soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together with Jerry. I really wish I could be there for you today so please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

I was a student of Mr.Sharkey at Carroll High School. He was a great teacher who truly believed all were created equal. No matter their belief or color of their skin.

The candle left by Jerry casts a great light. I met him very briefly when we both worked for the county in the mid 1970's. He seemed interested in the model size jet plane on my desk. I'm truly sorry I did not have a chance to get to know him better, but life sends us all in different directions. Dayton, and maybe aviation itself, has suffered an irreplaceable loss. My sincere sympathy to the family and closest of friends.

Sharkey Family,
So sorry to hear the sad sad news. Our family's thoughts & prayers are with your family during this hard, difficult time. Be strong, stay strong.
With our sincere sympathy,
Pat & Lisa Balster family
