Gerald Singer Obituary

Singer
Gerald N. Singer "Dee", passed away on April 14, 2011. He was born to Esther and Benjamin Singer in Chicago, IL on May 14, 1918. Gerald served in WWII and the Korean War and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Army. He was predeceased by daughter Barbara Singer Phillips. Gerald is survived by his wife Natalie Fisch Singer, daughter and son in law Jean and Sandy Beckman; grandchildren Stephen and Leslie Beckman, Dr., Randall and Lisa Beckman, Aaron and Jacquelyn Cohan; and "the greats" Rayne and Kai Beckman. We will remember Dee as a devoted husband, caring father, and adoring grandfather and great grandfather. A graveside military funeral will be held at the Houston Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive on April 20, 2011 at 10:30 a.m.

The Stepinoff's want the family to know we are thinking about all of you during this time. Steve and I were fortunate enough to meet "Pop" at Jean and Sandy's home. He was a great man and will be missed by family and friends.
