It's been over 4 months since Dad's passing. So grateful that word went out through the S.F. Chronicle and a website like this, because I know there were people he touched, especially in the Bay Area, who might otherwise not have heard. Jerry was a wonderful man and a good friend. As a youth, I knew him as a brother in law. But as an adult we became friends independent of family. He was a trusted advisor and a great support. The world is not quite as bright a place without Jerry.

Gerald's love for his family and friends greatly inspired and guided all who knew him. While a serious student, his humor and courage for adventure was what made him most memorable to me - their is no doubt in my mind that he has the angels in heaven in stitches and I miss him more than I can express - love you brother Gerald mac
