Not sure what to say?

may i send my condolences to his wife Nancy

To have had the privilege of having a H.S. Principal the caliber of Mr. Stern is something I didn't fully appreciate until years after graduation. Even after his retirement he was still mentoring, encouraging, supporting his former graduates, who were all spurred on by his example of love and leadership. He and his beautiful wife Nancy showed all of us what grace and dignity looked like. Our community has lost a true statesman! Rep. Rob Hutton

Jerry always had a listening ear for students. I remember finding my way to his office to plot out a summer school and early graduation so I could go on to college instead of my Last year at East. May Jerry's family know he touched my life and now I am in service to others. Go Navy. And RIP Jerry we have the watch and thank you for defending US.

"Even after his retirement Jerry continued to inspire our students to stay focused and excel in their education. Our staff and fifth grade MPS students who attended STARBASE Wisconsin will forever remember his enthusiasm and energy when he spoke to them about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math and the future ahead of them"

Colonel (R) John Puttre & STARBASE Staff

Many memories with JerBear -last time we got together was in Old Town, Scottsdale, AZ for lunch. Great friend!

Mr Stern was a great man to his country and to his students. I am blessed to have had him for a teacher. The world shines a little bit less with his passing. Rest in peace Mr Stern. You did a good job here on earth. You deserve it.

What a terrific man Jerry was. He had morals and he served his country well. He was a great teacher. The world lost something with Jerry's passing. I am glad to have had him for my teacher.

Nancy and the entire Stern Family: I am so sorry for your loss. My offer to you, still ~if there is anything I can do to help you, please reach out to me. I would be honored to assist you with any sort of communication. May God give you peace. As you grieve, I pray your memory brings many, many good, happy, sweet thoughts to you, thoughts which will cause you to thrive. We will all miss Jerry.
