Still missing you daddy!!!

A dear friend, always full of fun and great conversations. I miss his wit and insights on life and living.

In a brief couple of years with Ivy and the family, Jerry and Bonnie took me in and I felt like family, and he allowed me to watch a master at work, what a gift! 19 years in Carson City NV.

Gerry was a Grand Master both in art and in life. We will never stop missing him.

my mothers painting of the sacred heart of the blessed mother was Gerrys first commissioned painting in the mid 40's when he was a teen. gerry was her cousin. that painting was passed to her sister Irene
Resch after her passing in 1986. Aunt Irene passed this year, and it was passed down to me. It has a place of honor in my home. you shared your god gifted talent with the world. This family is blessed beyond measure to have known you, and watched you grow from your roots in...

Yet there is something holy in the composition, that I feel I am sitting in a church, looking at it hanging over the altar. God bless you as you stand in Christ's...

I am a painter, and I was touched by his work, and purchased a piece, while in mendocino at one time, and was shocked by his death, I feel he was a wonderful artist, and I hope he is in a better place now. sincerely, andrea
