I knew Gerry from our days in Dubuque. He was the life of the party and always had a witty remark or funny joke to share. He tried to pretend he was Don Rickles but he was really Mr. Rogers at heart. He performed many quiet acts of kindness during his life. His family and all his myriad friends were fortunate to have him in their lives.
