Not sure what to say?

I´m so sorry to hear Gerry´s passing. We grew up together and he was best friends with my brother Larry. Gerry was really like part of our family. Gerry was a very kind man. RIP old friend. Prayers for Gerry and his family . Love Terry AKA "little Kelley"

May our Lord JESUS CHRIST give comfort to you all, family and friends of Jerry, knowing he now prays for you all from Heaven. From friends @ Mercy Medical Center support group. Photo is of Cross of Blessing in main lobby, that greeted us as we entered hospital, to fellowship and share there. In arms are inscribed Text from NUMBERS 6:24-26 by our Sisters of Providcence. May our Lord JESUS CHRIST keep and bless you, make The Light of His face to shine upon you, be gracious to you, and give...

My condolences to surviving family. Jerry was a good friend and neighbor. I enjoyed our conversations at the mailboxes, mostly navy talk.

Dear Sue, Sorry for your loss of Gerry,he was always pleasant to talk to at group

A heartfelt thank you for your service to our country. Rest in peace.

I first met Gerry about 65 years ago at the "terrace" and we spent uncountable hours at forest park with all our neighborhood friends. Gerry was a good friend and a good man and I never knew him to say a bad word about anyone. The world has lost another good one.

Like Jerry, I also served on board the USS Cambria, but 3 years after Jerry did. He and I went out for lunch several times together, usually at the Frontera Grill in Springfield. I'll miss those get together lunches.

Remember Gerry from our teenage years hanging around with the crowd from "The Terrace". Last time I saw him was at one of the "Terrace" reunions. Nice guy.
