Jerry was a great guy. I am saddened by the news of his passing. He was always a fun guy. One time we joked that his son and I were going to get married in Vegas, the next thing we knew he booked a flight...and so did we! His son and I got married in Vegas with big Jerry by our side. Mr. Thick took me to the U.P. to pick up Jerry during our high school days. The joker he was, told me I was eating beef stew, only to find out later it was venison! I was always welcomed by Mr. and Mrs. Thick, as well as; Walter, Kelly and Beth (when she wasn't reading ). Jerry, my good friend-my thoughts and prayers are with you, Ma Christina and Freddie.
God Bless you!

"Uncle" Jerry was a source of laughs and kindness in my childhood. He hoodwinked me into believing Santa knew where I was every year to call and see what I wanted for Christmas. Even continued the tradition with my children! He was loved and will be missed.

Our deepest sympathies to the entire family. Gerry was an amazing man and dear friend. His wisdom, humor and friendship will never be forgotten. His annual call to or children as "Santa" are still laughed at today around our dinner table. His zest for life, and entrepreneurial spirit is legendary. We will miss him.
