Not sure what to say?

From the land Close to the Artic cirle we send our deepest sympathy in Connection With that Gerald W Thomas has passed away. He was one of those who gave us hope for a sudden Peace in 1943, when he fought in the North.

Carol and I want to express our condolances. I had the pleasure of working with Gerald for a number of years at the university. He was thoughtful, supportive, and inspirational. We shall all miss him deeply.

Gerald and Jean Thomas were close friends of ours. My husband, Ralph Durham, worked with Gerald for several years at Texas Tech. The four of us enjoyed many social outings. I think back on those times with happy memories. Jane Durham

Gerald was my Great Uncle who i looked up to and admired. So sorry for your loss Aunt Jean and family.

We will miss him and every day we see his influence at NMSU. What a great man! We are so sorry for your loss.

I know him as a warrior, in the United States Navy, WWII. He accomplished much for this great nation, and survived more than his share of harrowing experiences, to come back to Las Cruces, and contine to serve.

Thank you for your distinguished service in WWII. It is veterans such as yourself that led me to make the military my career.

My heartfelt condolences go to each of you in Dr. Thomas' family. I have wonderful memories of ice cream socials at the NMSU President's home where we made sundaes in that long rain gutter. Prayers to each of you for peace and for precious memories of such a wonderful man and a great family.
