I was so sorry to hear of Gerry's death. I worked with Gerry most Friday evenings putting out the Saturday paper before I left the Journal in 2008. He could take credit often for keeping the system up and running, without the readers ever know how often a miracle occurred getting the printed edition to their homes. And how we loved his gifts from the garden! He'll be missed.
