Not sure what to say?

My greatest childhood memories are spending time with Gerry and the Tupper Family in Rocky Point. I can remember him playing his guitar and singing his funny songs, like it was yesterday. What an incredible man he was and an honor to know. My thoughts and prayers are with all friends and family of Gerry.
For the record Gerry, I NEVER EVER understood the egg joke. But since you asked, I like my eggs scrambled and well done.

To the Tupper family. My condolences & prayers during this difficult time of loss. Gerald was a great man.Often he would visit our house unannounced in the days of growing up in good ol' gld & he always made us laugh. A TRUE humanitarian..as the Founder of Esperanca!
~Thank you Gerald for your invaluable service to the World. ~ A contribution to Esperanca will be made in your memory!!! Lori

My heartfelt condolences to the Tupper Family.
Mr. Tupper was a strong influence in my life, from the age of 8 or 9 thru high school when we moved. He got me to start playing the guitar. I was taking piano lessons and he told me that if I played the guitar I could get a boyfriend to carry it to parties, but I would need 8 or 10 boyfriends to do the same with a piano.
Truthfully, he was recruiting for folk mass at OLPH, and pretty soon I was playing the guitar and singing at mass....

To the dear family of Gerald Tupper. May "...the God of all comfort," ease your heartaches. 2Cor.1:3,4. Remembering that he says in Ps.145:14 "I will support you...All who are bowed down." Ps.83:18. May you find peace of heart. J. Wilson

I had the pleasure of leading Esperanca from 1998 through 2010. I will forever be greatful for the vision that Gerry had to begin the charity in support of Fr. Tupper's work in the Amazon. I told the story of the 'attorney brother from Phoenix' to thousands of people all over the country. This inspired many to support Esperanca. From this man's effort, thousands of lives will never be the same - for the good. To the end Gerry was supportive of my leadership and pleased with the direction...

Sylvia and I on behalf of the de Leon family extend our condolences to Barbara and the entire family. Our prayers are with you all. Gerry will be remembered for his work on behalf of Esperanca.

I recall upon my interview with him before joining the firm in 1965, he asked me how many children Sylvia and I had. I said we had four. He then said: “Oh I see you are a victim of the Vatican Roulette.” I didn’t know if this meant he was anti Catholics. So I then met with Norm Skeens, and...
