Not sure what to say?

Jerry was a true gem. He helped me start my fireworks business when I was only 16. I'll never forget going to the San Antonio warehouse to see his "BOOM" license plate; waiting to see me. He really went out of his way for such a insignificant customer. He instilled in me the need to treat EVERY customer the same; no matter the dollar amount. He inspired me to keep going and do what I can to help my town any way I can. He will truly be missed...Thanks again Jerry!!

Dad,
This was our first 4th of July without you. We all miss you deeply. I hope you enjoyed your first fireworks show from above!
Love
Karen

Dear Wald Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. The memories of summers I spent working in the warehouse and enjoying the friendship and love of your family will always be with me. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.
Jeff

Dear Family,
I am so sorry to hear of such a loss to all of you of "Gawman". But I have so many fun memories during the times I was graced with his presence. I know that it wasn't easy for the family, especially Betty, taking care of him at home the last few years, but I know how much he appreciated everything everyone did for him. I know how much he loved his entire family, and how proud he was of each and everyone of you. We had some long talks together, and I grew to love him, too....

Treasure the memories of a great husband, father and friend. Many fond memories of the Visitation kids who shared lots of good times.

Dear Wald Family,
Jerry Wald was a great man, a kind neighbor & good friend of our family -The Owens Family. What a wonderful loving husband to Betty and good father he was to his children. He even often mentored kids besides us crazy Owens' kids in the neighborhood. He always cared and was so helpful. We certainly had some of the best and most memorable 4th of Julys! In fact how can I not think of Jerry Wald every 4th of July? He was Mr. 4th of July for all us kids in the neighborhood....

Debbie and family,
Knowing that the family has given years of loving to your dad is a great comfort. May the Lord bless you all in this time.

Betty,
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love,
Suzie

Jerry was a wonderful neighbor with a wonderful family. I have great memories of him and the good ol' days on 57th Street. Thanks to Jerry and Betty for those great memories. My love and prayers to the Wald family. Martha Wyrsch
