Not sure what to say?

Always a loving, warm feeling and good memories when I think of my friend Jerry. We fought for GLBT rights when few understood the fight. We worked hard together. We were successful in getting the Oregon AFL-CIO to pass a resolution supporting BM 9 and Gay Rights. The first state labor council in the US to do so. His gentle ways, fighting spirit and bravery in the face of hate was an example of never giving up.

It has been almost a year now since you have gone to join our heavenly father. I think of you often especially when I turn on my beautiful lamp. I will never forget you Jerry and will always love you. Your cousin and friend Connie

As I write a memoir of the 1978 - 1988 period of my activism, I recall you as a friend and ally. Thank you! I regret we didn't re-connect before your transition from this life.

Jerry was a good neighbor of my family and Ii in Pittsburgh. He was a very kind person. I will remember him as a person of good humor and kindness. My condolences to Jer's family. Sincerely, Beverly Barton

Jerry I will never forget you and will always love you. Our special memories will be with me forever. Until we meet again dear cousin. Love Connie and Rocky
