Sending prayers and sincere condolences to the Werth family (Mrs. Werth, Chuck, Sarah and their extended families) upon hearing of Mr. Werth's passing. I so appreciated his model of Christian faith in the classroom, but some of my favorite memories are of the many pep rallies he led at Central Lutheran School. While I never had Mr. Werth as a student, I was at Central Lutheran when tackle football was launched. Mr. Werth took on the task of building a program from the ground up. We were not exactly a dream come true for him to manage. I was so thankful for his patience and guidance. He taught us how to win and lose gracefully.
